About Us

Development Journalists Forum (DJF)  is a national organization that focuses on promotion of the role of media in democratization and transformation. It works closely with local and international media organizations, media development agencies, civil society groups, including youth and women development movements, as well as other partners that promote democracy and pluralism towards better transformation.

DJF has three major programme areas. These are:

  •  Media for Transformation
  • Community Media for Inclusive Development
  • Training and Capacity Building

Furthermore, democracy, equality, social justice and inclusiveness
are the cross-cutting themes of DJF.
